Digital Analytics Insights Producer

Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, Digital Analytics Insight Producer, are to:

  • Apply context through storytelling around digital spend and conversion (micro/macro) to support a Return On Investment(ROI)/ Return On Advertising Spending(ROAS) based model to inform and guide a robust media optimization strategy;

  • Evaluate trends and a common framework across disparate datasets to support the efficient application of measurement and insights across multiple divisions/ business areas including but not limited to Pharmaceutical Health, Consumer Health, Crop Science, Animal Health and Radiology;

  • Influence the establishment of a measurement model that leverages the current Bayer tools as well as emerging platforms/technologies and take a consultative approach across Brands and Agency partners in making data available to Brands and across the Division and providing analytical insight for ROI or campaign optimization purposes;

  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Bayer measurement framework and digital analytics model for the ability to benchmark performance and provide insight around channel performance;

  • Collaborate on the establishment of enterprise digital standards and analytic best practices to ensure optimal channel activation and any recommended optimization based on greatest impact with multiple stakeholders including management;

  • Lead the Bayer Measurement and analytics strategy and how to shape and evolve the division’s digital agency/supplier platform through an understanding of the consumer and brand’s needs;

  • Contribute to shape aspects of identifying, reviewing and contracting digital agency partners and suppliers;

  • Responsible for the implementation of digital innovation including social, mobile and video and leads the execution of cross-functional projects that facilitate future enablement in an effort to maximize consumer and other key audience engagement. The incumbent is accountable to empower the entire organization with digital and social media learnings, best practices, and resources.

Who you are

Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with eight or more years of experience; OR

  • Master's Degree with six years of experience; OR

  • Doctorate with one or more years of experience; OR

  • Twelve or more years of applicable business experience;

  • Experience visualizing and analyzing multiple disparate data sets into one cohesive digital story;

  • Thorough knowledge of digital strategy development, digital strategies, channels and measurement/analytics;

  • Three or more years of experience in digital marketing analytics or data science role;

  • Understanding of marketing clouds and digital data technologies (DMPs, Google 360 Suite, digital pixel tracking, site tagging, etc.);

  • Experience or understanding of mixed media modeling and digital attribution technology such as Google, DoubleClick, IRI, Convertro or Visual IQ;

  • Structured thinker and clear in verbal and written communication, concise and on-point when answering and asking questions and the ability to communicate highly complex ideas in a simple effective manner;;

  • Prior experience in setting direction and engaging with strategy/analytics agencies, technical suppliers, and providers of analytic services;

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence change.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A certification in Google Analytics is preferred or other Web Analytics platform (Adobe);

  • Knowledge of R, Python or SAS;

  • Expertise using tools such as Tableau, Beckon, and/or other data aggregation and visualization tools;

  • Experience in healthcare marketing;

  • Agency / Marketing / IT background.
