PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Logistics Services is a key organizational area of SAP’s Integrated Quality & Services unit that drives innovation and high quality in the cloud. Being an integral part of SAP’s Global Business Operations board area, our mission also covers the ongoing strive to support the world-class customer and employee experience for a best-run SAP.
Our professional service unit manages the end-to-end logistical process chain from production, commissioning, packaging to delivery. Within our worldwide business, we are responsible for planning, execution and control of the supply of key materials and services to internal and external customers along SAP’s strategic directions. We manage a service portfolio that is comprised of essential logistical functions such as digital printing, material delivery and transportation services, warehouse management and postal deliveries as well as order coordination and international customs services. With our focus on optimized delivery processes, we guarantee the worldwide shipment of software & physical goods in compliance with SAP’s global and foreign trade regulations by applying efficient operations processes.
To strengthen our various service departments – in particular the mailroom, printing, delivery, warehousing and transportation teams - we are looking for a working student (m/f) who is interested to support our operational duties in the respective teams.
The respective tasks can be dispatched in the area of print materials processing, warehouse support, internal mail distribution or in the area of transport services - depending on the driving license class. We expect a flexible work attitude and the willingness to rotate within our business areas, according to our respective requirements.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Following tasks require support through working students and an employment can be possible in either one specific business area or in a flexible, job-rotating way in various departments. The specific work area and schedule of duties will be decided in alignment with the working student according to his profile, expectation and unit requirements:
SAP-internal mail distribution and overall work support in our mailroom, for example in-house scanning of documents, archiving of documents or visa application screening assistance
Supply of office material, support of packing stations and quality assistance with incoming mail deliveries
Digital Print Media Center support through finishing, cutting, creasing, perforating and booklet making
Perform spiral binding and laminating of specific orders
Goods receipt processing, packaging and picking
Inventory goods receipt support and assistance in incoming goods flow and overall warehouse logistics
Support for processing of incoming goods, checking incoming deliveries for completeness and condition of deliveries, system-side recording of all incoming deliveries/shipments
Processing support for national and worldwide shipping orders and document deliveries
Preparation of pro forma invoices, freight documents for service providers and management/provision of freight forwarding lists
Shuttle and transportation duties
Truck transportation responsibilities, if required driver license available
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Currently enrolled as Student at a university or university of applied sciences
Language skills: Excellent German skills are mandatory
Soft skills: Team oriented working style, reliable and trustful
Driver license for truck transportations (>3,5t) would be an asset
Physical condition for distribution of internal mail and shipping items
Preferred working hours: 8:30-12:00h. Afternoon working hours can be arranged individually
