With this in mind, the Business Network & Applications (BNA) Board Area is accelerating its transformation to become a cloud company. With a clear strategy, agreed upon goals, seamless execution, and 100% adoption, we will be unstoppable. We invite one to two fellows to help us transform the SAP Ariba Organization to enable SAP to reach its goal of €7.5 to €8bn Cloud Subscription Revenue by 2020. These fellows will be essential in driving projects and working on an overall program management in the CDO SAP Ariba area in alignment with the growth strategy.


Students will function as team and work side-by-side with the CDO of SAP Ariba, the CDO Team and dedicated members of the Leadership Team to:

  • Develop a customer office program to manage CDO customer engagements

  • Leverage best practices from existing customer officers and customer office programs across SAP

  • Enhance customers’ engagement with SAP by developing and streamlining the Social Media activities and putting marketing and communication trends in these channels into action

  • Generation of Social Media content in cooperation with the CDO

  • Deliver thought leadership insights on future trends and procurement transformation to create content for public relations and white papers

  • Be responsible for initiating, overseeing and executing on a project from the start until completion while working with a multidisciplinary team for designated projects to ensure quality and integrity of data, compliance with either SAP cooperate strategy, organizational strategy and regulatory requirements, ensuring project completion on time and within budget

  • Coordinate information streams across sales, operations, and finance to keep business leads informed and up to date on key and pertinent information


  • Currently enrolled as Student at a university or a university of applied sciences

  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office

  • Language skills: English, German optional

  • Soft skills: flexible, agile, able to handle stress, fast pace well, excellent communication skills, solid leadership and influencing skills

  • Others: ability to tackle challenging executive level initiatives, high tolerance for ambiguity, ability to build a plan from a vision

  • The Working student should be comfortable in both an ambiguous, self-sufficient role, as well as one of team support and interaction

  • Ownership of work is extremely important, and working students should have a proven record of understanding customer needs, customer office priorities and working with projects to their completion

  • Experience working in an international team environment under time and resource pressures. Prior experience working with senior leadership and a natural orientation towards being proactive, solutions-focused and helpful is required

  • Must be a highly motivated and efficient with the ability to manage a significant volume of diverse tasks, activities, and projects, including both tactical and strategic projects

  • Must have a strong track record delivering in global, complex cross functional initiatives in a highly matrixed environment
