PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Globalization Services enables SAP’s global footprint by helping customers succeed in their local markets by providing legal compliance, multi-language capabilities, and delivering country local best practices for SAP solutions. The economy’s drive for globalization and digitalization goes hand in hand with an emphasis on local best practices and country requirements. Availability of our products in local languages is a key success factor for selling SAP software globally. Globalization Services - SAP Language Services (GS SLS) provides language and translation-related services for all SAP Solutions and non-coded assets into many languages. We develop state-of-the-art language technology innovations.
You will get the opportunity to develop your skills in a very international working environment and learn about a variety of globalization related business and content management processes in a highly diverse and global organization.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Support program and project managers with project and quality management activities
Support content management strategy, content platforms and tools according to the SAP-wide documentation standards
Ensure the linguistic quality of communication material and content (English/German)
General office work involving extensive use of social media, SAP software and Microsoft Office products
Organize events, meetings, protocols, and manage administrative tasks, create summaries and content updates
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Currently enrolled as Student at a university or university of applied sciences
Preferred fields of study: Translation, Communications, Business, Computer Science, Computational Linguistics
Very good English and German skills in written and spoken is a must
Flexibility and readiness to learn new skills, ability to work independently and with a high degree of accuracy
Team player with good communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to translate, edit, summarize, present and communicate content according to target groups
Strong IT skills, in particular with the MS product family, content management systems, HTML or XML based editors, etc.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
