We are currently looking for a talented Firmware Engineer to be located in Lisle, IL to support the design and development of electrical designs of microprocessor-based circuits for consumer phone accessories, high current sensing sensors, and DC/DC convertors. Essential Functions: Efficient hands-on embedded software code development for designs involving CPLDs, microprocessors, and power supplies.Document product requirements based on customer inputCoordinate design features with mechanical and electrical engineeringWorking with Electrical Engineering to propose chipsets that can be programmed to meet customer requirements.Conduct Design Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (DFMEAs)Participate in design reviews.Estimate product cost tradeoffsCreate, Revise, Release, and maintain Software Source and Hex code consistent with customer requirements.Create test requirements and test plans that will validate the code. Molex CMS product team is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the product development group for our newest and fast-growing segment. We are looking for those that share our passion for solution development and delivery. An Engineering Manager with strong focus on design and simulation of signal integrity and thermal design for high speed electronic solutions and connectivity products. Someone with experience in design and simulation of high data rate electronic solutions (Ethernet gateways, media and infotainment connectivity products etc) and connectivity products for the automotive industry. This role will support the thermal design and analysis of electronic modules for automotive industry as well. Main responsibilities for this position will include the technical supervision of signal integrity and thermal design engineers focused on development of next generation of automotive high-speed connectors, cables and electronics solutions.   • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Master’s Preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience leading signal, power integrity and thermal design and analysis for high speed electronic solutions, connectors and cable assemblies.

  • Ability to understand and implement the thermal design and simulation concepts for automotive electronic control modules using measurement and simulation tools (Mentor Graphics Flotherm, Anysis Icepak etc)

  • A critical mind for validation, troubleshooting and high-quality standards for developing the next generation of connectivity and electronic solutions.

  • Proven project management skills to manage and complete multiple large projects simultaneously.
