House of Blues Marketing Intern (6 months FTC), Soundcrash in United States

Job Summary:

Soundcrash is one of the UK’s for most music promotions company. Specialising in Electronic, World, Hip Hop, Bass, Funk and Soul music our marketing team specialises in creative and forward-thinking marketing.

We’re looking for a Marketing Intern who will work with the Marketing Team across multiple functions, with a focus on press, communications and social media.

Soundcrash is part of Live Nation which is the world’s leading live entertainment company comprised of global market leaders: Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, LN Media and Artist Nation Management.

This is a full time (Monday - Friday 10am-6pm) paid internship that will be recruited on a casual contract starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Marketing Team in creation and distribution of marketing assets to core network of partners – including ticket agents, venues, media partners, labels, sponsorship partners and more

  • Support Campaign Managers and Campaign Executives across all elements of Event Marketing, including poster/leaflet creation, print and distribution

  • Liaise with internal Live Nation departments including Ticketing, Partnerships, Finance and Promoters

  • Assist Marketing Finance Controller with day to day activity across all LN events

  • Building mailers and e-shots

  • Writing PR and copy for social media

Requirements

Skills / Knowledge / Experience

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Pursuing graduate or postgraduate degree, marketing major preferred

  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Understanding of marketing basics

  • Proactive, self-starter and a team player

  • Passion for live music and events
