This internship will focus on all we do in the Creative department from answering RFPs, developing world class advertising and social strategies and creative concepts, discovering and acquiring videos and images for brands to use in campaigns.
The selected candidate will be based in our London headquarters, where they will work with our global brands team.
You’ll be trained on our state-of-the-art technology and learn our processes for finding, verifying and acquiring social media content from around the world for brands and agencies.
The candidate will work as fully-fledged member of the team, so all we ask is that you come in ready to learn and take direction from day one.
An excellent command of English is a prerequisite.
An interest in research and analytics is required.
Familiarity and strong understanding of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Google +, Tumblr, etc.
Excellent computer skills, including Office, Powerpoint and Google Docs.
Video Production &/ or design skills are required.
Degree in communications, design or marketing preferred
Completing in-depth training with the Storyful staff, including understanding of other departments besides brands
Work on the RFP (request for proposal) process from a creative standpoint, from brainstorming to writing response copy, working on decks and helping in pre-sales production work.
Review discovery, develop creative content strategies and coordinate on feedback for clients across diverse verticals.
Assist in content discovery, outreach and acquisition on a day to day basis
Present creative ideas and communicate with clients and/or internal staff, through to completion of job
Compile post-campaign information to assist in the creation of case studies, working closely with Production Manager to ensure relevant details are captured for video
Pitch ideas both internally and externally and work closely with the sales team to foster and develop relationships within News UK and with external agencies/clients where possible.
Develop advanced searches and creative approaches to discover content of high value to brands. Track, identify and present content for brands on an ongoing basis
Conduct research based on requests from clients or internal sales and business-development teams and deliver briefs on discoveries in a timely, clear manner
Learn the RFP (request for proposal) process from a creative standpoint, from organising brainstorms to writing responses, working on decks and PDFs.
Write scripts, art direct videos, develop creative content strategies for clients across diverse verticals.
Coordinate and run live events such as media walls and live blogs
Work with Product team to test and develop creative tools.
