Villanova University Posting Details Posting Details (Default Section) Posting Number: 20181813S Position Title: Administrative and Program Specialist Position Type: Staff Recruitment Type: Internal/External Applicants Work Schedule: part-time/10-months Avg Hours Week 15 Department: 130-Dean-Arts and Sciences Position Summary: The Administrative and Program Specialist works closely with the Lepage Center's Director and Faculty Director to manage Lepage Center operations and plan and promote events, and to help ensure that operational and tactical goals are executed well and on-time. Duties and Responsibilities: Communications: drafting and editing memos, reports, monthly newsletters, and other updates; social media posts, web articles and other communications as needed; maintenance and development of newsletter distribution list. Maintenance of the Lepage Center website. Assistance with development and promotion of Lepage Center events. Assistance to the Director with financial management. Assistance to the Director for organizing meetings and maintaining internal and external partnerships. Management of the Lepage Center's public space, including accepting room reservations, managing the room reservation calendar, preparing and cleaning up the space before and after usage, and general maintenance and care of the space. Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Expertise in MS Office suite ; event planning; web design and social media proficiency. Minimum of two years related work or internship experience required. Excellent writing and communication skills; ability to organize, plan and manage projects and public-facing events. Standard computer knowledge. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in history or other related humanities discipline preferred. Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours: Limited local travel and some attendance at evening events is anticipated.
