Merck Research Labs is currently recruiting for a Social Media and Graphic Design Intern for the summer of 2019. The position is responsible for:

  • Designing and creating social media content in conjunction withthe social media team and external agencies and following content reviewprocess and workflows.

  • Supporting the Community Manager withstudent blogs, including editing and reviewing blog post, following the blogcontent review process, and publishing of new posts.

  • Monitoring social media channels as assigned on a daily basis, following responseprotocols and escalating commentary as necessary.

The candidate will be required to have excellent attention to detail as well as experience using Adobe products including Photoshop, Illustrator and video editing software.

This is a full- time internship position. Housing subsidy is not available as part of this program and must be funded 100% by the student.

Education:

  • Required: Candidates must be currentlypursuing a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

RequiredExperience and Skills:

  • Candidates must be available to workfull-time for up to (12) consecutive weeks beginning in May or June of2019.

  • Candidates must have experience using Adobe Creative Suite products, including Photoshop and Illustrator.

  • Candidates must have excellent attention to detail.

PreferredExperience and Skills:

  • Candidates should have a strong understandingof social media.

  • Preference given to graphic design or marketing majors.
