NJ Employer Instructional Coordinator in TEANECK, New Jersey

The Instructional Coordinator reports directly to the Director of the International School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. The incumbent supports the administration of all degree programs in Hospitality Management for all New Jersey locations and Global Partnership students; and provides cultural adjustment assistance for undergraduate and graduate international students enrolled in Petrocelli College programs administered by ISHTM who come to FDU from various Global Partnership institutions. Responsibilities include: acting as advocate for international students; tracking students academic progress; and coordinating and monitoring student focused professional development programs relating to internships, pre-requisite program for graduate hospitality students, professional workshops, seminars, and various study abroad experiences. The Instructional Coordinator works closely with university departments and offices that provide various student support services necessary to fulfill the needs of both on-campus and off-campus students. The incumbent supervises and monitors the day-to-day record keeping operations for the International School of Hospitality and Tourism Management including assistance with all administration matters such as purchase orders, contract review processes, budget management, course programming, confidential documentation, and monitoring and analysis of student lab fees and field trip expenditures. 1.Masters degree in Hospitality Management preferred 2.Academic administrative experience including office management and program development, with fiscal experience in a college or university setting. 3.International study abroad experience. 4.English as a Second Language experience preferred.5.Proficiency in data management and analysis, reporting, graphics, social media, and on-line services applications. 6.Must be available to work non-standard hours including evenings and/or weekends.7.Valid drivers license and accessibility to transportation for travel between campuses. 8.Valid passport and ability to travel internationally. 9.Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
