Career Development: As a digital user experience (UX) intern, you will receive valuable practical work experience while supporting our digital team in the implementation and measurement of user experience enhancements. The internship also has a strong focus on learning how to be customer-centric by integrating physical to digital experiences. What you would do in this job: As a digital UX intern at Securian, you will receive valuable practical work experience while supporting our digital team in the implementation and measurement of related experience enhancements. This role will also be responsible for developing and managing an enhancement that encompasses UX design, content development, social and digital paid media, measurement and reporting. Internship responsibilities include: Applying user-centered design principles to create effective digital solutions and improve the user experience Developing and presenting wireframes and user experience recommendation based on customer feedback and best practices Analyzing customer feedback and behaviors to identify trends and recommend changes that will improve the user experience Partnering with social and analytics to develop social media campaign and metrics to help achieve business objectives Partnering with our internal team to develop, edit and review digital content Developing tools and presentations for internal audiences on user trends and results of testing activities What we'd expect from you: Strong understanding of value in taking a user centered approach to designing digital experiences Well-developed written and oral communication skills Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks Excellent work ethic and positive attitude Solid team player Strong attention to detail What you could expect from us: Appreciating diversity and the unique contributions of each associate, Securian fosters a workplace where people can develop and reach their potential.
