Looking for Part-time Summer Intern, AMA Saranac Lake.

As a Public Telesales Marketing intern, you will work closely with the Call Center Director and the Management Team to help maintain and manage the everyday processes through special projects that are assigned to you to help increase the revenue stream in the Call Center.

In addition, learn how to pull reports and deliver data analysis that supports strategic, actionable recommendations for optimization in the Public Telesales Call Center.

  • Candidates must have a strong interest in sales and marketing.

  • Candidate will create lists pulling data from Social Media and other resources to find valuable prospects in companies (Departmental Heads, Function Heads ) for the sales team to penetrate wider and deeper to help the expansion of revenue stream within each company.

  • Manage and maintain the database Hierarchy Tool to link national account headquarters and additional sites to ensure the accuracy of individual Public Telesales territory management.

  • Assist the managers with weekly Hierarchy requests and research to provide information for them to present to the Director in the weekly meetings.

  • Assist with marketing efforts, lead generation through becoming proficient in the Reg X and IMIS to help further advance the revenue stream.

  • Assist in the creation of updating customer presentations through seminar matching to company competency models.

  • Monitor and analyze effectiveness of new marketing efforts, and overall campaign performance

  • Communicate with teams and management to understand current and future business challenges and assist with the current tasks on hand to further impact the revenue stream.

  • Reinstate the low count process manage and maintain the process

  • Learning how the government sector performs and assist in any marketing campaigns to help increase revenue in this sector.

  • One note- Big focus on bringing one-note up to date with new processes and best business practices.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Specific Duties:

Create new Sales Lists using Social Media to add key contacts to database

Create reports that can link phone stats and attendance to performance by rep and company

Position new sales leads to new reps for appointment setting

Streamline some of our contest reports and tracking mechanisms freeing up the managers to be on the floor more

Gathers and sorts rep email templates and scripts for review by management

Ability to take initiative and attempt to work through challenges while knowing when to ask for guidance or direction

  • High energy and ability to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Applicant must be enrolled in a marketing oriented undergraduate or graduate degree-program with a major or minor in marketing during the time of the internship.

  • A strong interest in marketing, sales and/or business development.

  • Ability to present ideas in a well-organized marketing oriented manner.

  • Applicant has to be authorized to work. (International students have to be able to provide proof of work authorization.)

  • Proficient with MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
