Responsibilities

Increase Education Customer licencing annuity rates and ensuring on-time renewals with maximum revenue recapture Increasing adoption of new Education licensing programs.

  • Drive new business – incl. Microsoft Cloud, Windows 10 and Education products. * Drive consumption of Microsoft Cloud technologies.

  • Drive Services engagements working with Microsoft Services

  • Orchestrate customer engagement with internal and external resources.

  • Leverage voice of customer feedback through surveys, listening systems and social mechanisms to identify and alleviate key customer success blockers

  • Run a predictable and healthy business. Remain focused on customer-facing time by maintaining basic sales hygiene and running a predictable and healthy business * Deliver the Education Transformation Framework to all government customers & leverage the Education Transformation Agreement to secure partnership with education leaders.

  • Land the Education Industry Vertical Solutions scenarios to increase Azure consumption & drive the successful deployment, adoption and usage of Microsoft Cloud Technologies (Office 365, Azure & Dynamics 365) leading education transformation.

  • Leverage STEM+ programs and resources, including licensing of Microsoft Imagine Academy memberships & certifications to drive leader and educator agendas on Microsoft technology and employability skills for students. * Take responsibility for Windows 10 modern deployment in all Education Managed Accounts.

  • Leverage your partners to win Windows 10 device deals with Intune for Education and Office 365 attach.

  • Track all competitive device deals and win back share against Google with Windows 10 devices and Intune for Education.

  • Sell the value of Surface focused on Higher Education/Private K-12 (where available)

  • Leverage Microsoft Teacher Ambassador & Microsoft Teacher Internship programs for community engagement and growing the number of Microsoft Innovative Expert Educators with active use of the Online Educator Community increasing the # of Certified Microsoft Innovative Educators.

  • Increase the # of Microsoft Showcase Schools (especially in breadth).

  • Ensure Minecraft:Education Edition is successful and promote upgrade of Windows 10 and Office 365 Education as requirements for Minecraft:Education Edition.

  • Manage direct team and orchestrate virtual teams including Education Licencing Sales Specialist, Microsoft Enterprise Channel Manager, Microsoft Audience Marketing Manager & Microsoft Inside Sales Representatives targeting and build breadth channel engagement.

  • Contribute to Microsoft growth commitment through attainment of your revenue-based and/or utilization-based quota.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of related experience.

  • Required – Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Preferred – MBA/Master’s Degree.

  • Leadership and management experience to manage the performance & development of a high performing education team (including virtuals teams). * Passion for Education and ICT: Likes to win and is passionate about making a strong contribution to future generations.

  • Demonstrated expertise positioning education solutions to senior education decision makers by reinforcing the technology value to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities.

  • Proven competence of motivating dotted line reporting teams .

  • Ability to win in a highly competitive environment.

  • Appreciation of both short and long term development needs (prioritizing share) to build trust and resilience to Microsoft technology platform.

  • Ability to work at multiple levels of organizations and adapt approach to any situation.

  • Demonstrated strategic time management and multi-tasking skills.

  • Ability to develop external partner eco-system to scale execution & comfortable with public speaking and the media.
