POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for delivering full life-cycle recruiting; collaborate with hiring managers to recommend strategies for identifying and recruiting potential candidates

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide full cycle recruitment support to hiring managers

  • Ensure positive candidate experience from the initial application to the final on-boarding process

  • Pro-actively works with hiring leadership and HR Business Partners to include: job postings, sourcing candidates, scheduling and conducting interview, and onboarding process

  • Create applicant pools and talent pipelines by posting job ads on job boards and social media sites such as LinkedIn

  • Conduct final interviews as needed and offer compensation packages

  • Maintain awareness of competitor practices, industry trends and recruitment standards

  • Develop and manage Internship program, to include attending job fairs and other events

  • Conduct new hire orientations

  • Perform specific research as requested

  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and trends, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions

  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

  • Responsible for process improvements, documenting processes/desktop procedures, keeping processes/desktop procedures updated, and identifying ways to reduce costs

  • Conduct pre-employment drug testing and background checks

  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service

  • Must be able to operate a vehicle in a safe manner

  • Must be available to travel

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • May provide training in areas such as affirmative action

  • Complete special projects and provide back up support to the HR team

  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned, including job descriptions

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • A degree in Human Resources, or a related field or the equivalent combination of experience and education

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of recruitment experience, a PHR is preferred

  • Demonstrated proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resources information systems (HRIS)

  • Familiarity with Office applications, such as Word and Excel and popular social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, are a must

  • Proven track record of success in high volume recruiting

  • Practical experience using advanced sourcing techniques

  • Basic knowledge of things such as non-disclosure agreements

  • Working knowledge of human resources functional areas and application state employment laws is required

  • Knowledge of the full life cycle recruitment process is required

  • Must be resourceful with strong analytical skills

  • Ability to think creatively to solve problems

  • Must have the ability to work independently

  • Must be detail oriented with a good work ethic and be able to maintain confidentiality in daily operations

  • Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English at a level which will permit the employee to accurately understand and communicate information to safely and efficiently perform the job duties

  • Must be team-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work with cross functional teams

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The ability to work at a computer, and computer monitor, and use repetitive motion for long periods of time

  • The ability to occasionally lift to 25 pounds

  • This position requires sitting 80% of the time and standing and walking 20% of the time

  • The ability to travel to various locations when needed
