We are currently seeking interns within our Data Operations Linear team.
The Intern will be involved in the following duties:
Ensure the timely and accurate arrival and processing of data feeds to and from comScore partners and clients.
Ensure 100% of expected data has been received, and to promptly identify and communicate issues with data feeds to internal and external parties as necessary.
Provide initial triage on issues as related to data feeds and customer questions.
Work performed may include: coordinating and processing documents, maintaining complicated records, preparing or compiling reports, and special studies where analysis of complex technical data is required.
Effectively translate and communicate the needs for both non-technical people and technical people.
Information gathering for special client request projects in cooperation with customer service and development staff.
Efficiently produce polished reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ensure the timely and accurate arrival and processing of data feeds to and from comScore partners and clients
Pull data from email, FTP sites and online portals to load
Utilizes queries for basic troubleshooting and analysis issues
Updates and maintains existing data infrastructure
Oversees small to mid-size external partner relationships
Owns discrete research tasks; Identifying trends, data anomalies in filtered and unfiltered partner data
WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP ENSURE YOUR SUCCESS?
Coursework with a strong quantitative focus such as Business/Marketing, Economics, Statistics, etc.
Experience within college coursework or internships that is analytical in nature
Proven proficiency with numbers/statistics and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills is a must.
Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal.
Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude.
Ability to interact effectively with peers in a team-oriented operating structure.
