Athena is looking for a Strategic Marketing and Special Events Coordinator who has a passion for problem-solving, managing change, and improving efficiency. We work in an exciting and challenging environment, but we make things happen and we enjoy doing it.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Overseeing internal and external stakeholders across a variety of disciplines to ensure successful marketing and event outcomes
Developing and maintaining marketing/communication calendars to ensure timely and thorough execution
High level analysis of campaign metrics and compilation of reporting for clients
Coordinating event technical needs, including but not limited to, ideation, collaborating with art and technical crews to brainstorming possibilities
Utilizing prior experience and skills to develop a plan for the execution of the ideas
Reviewing and editing projects real time as necessary to ensure an on time and within budget delivery
Maintaining a ROS and conducting regular team calls to ensure all stakeholders remain aligned and understand individual responsibilities, tasks and deliverables
Live call events as required
Working with writers and creatives to produce any presentations, talking points, etc. required
Maintaining event budgets, following up with vendors as required, executing vendor contracts, budget reporting to clients and internal stakeholders
Social media planning and execution
The skills and experience you should have:
Highly detail oriented and organized
Creative and analytical thinker
Capable of handling quantitative and technical duties
Eye for design to implement the visual aspects of an event
Strong multi-tasker overseeing many different tasks and collaborate with a wide range of teams
Strong communicator with the ability to prioritize many different simultaneous tasks
Assertive and capable of directing others
Ability to implement projects with little to no supervision
Ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel user
Strong writing skills
Moderate experience in Salesforce
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
3-5 years of professional experience (internship experience will be considered)
