Internship - Business Development CoordinatorRequisition ID:2019-7260Job Locations: :US-GA-NorcrossPosition Type:InternshipCategory:Business DevelopmentBusiness Unit:Shared Services Excellence In Everything We TouchPosition SummaryThe role of the Business Development intern coordinator intern is to provide assistance to the US CCS Sales Team consisting of National, Regional Account Executives and Client Account Managers The intern will work closely with the sales team and account management team with SalesForce, Account Maintenance (client specific instructions and various client requests including insurance certificates, iQ portal access requests, etc.), social media, maintaining SharePoint site and other support functions as needed.Internship Dates: June 3rd-August 9th, 2019There is no relocation/housing assistance available for this roleResponsibilitiesProvides data, analyses, modeling, and reporting to support sales operations, sales management and account executive productivityContributes to Request for Proposal (RFP) & Marketing content generation, editing, etc.Shares responsibility for performing analysis (deep diving into stale accounts, etc.) for businesses requests and to design/develop SOPsCompiles/prepares reports in SalesForce CRM - Examines selected accounts within sales team for current information as well as opportunity accuracy, activity history and contact record continuity.Work directly with end-users to identify, investigate, and resolve issuesAssists with development and execution of Social Media strategiesMaintain appropriate records of research methods and resultsDesign and/or develop and ensure the quality of specific databases for collection, tracking, and reporting of research data (via Microsoft Sharepoint or related software)Effectively communicate project status to management and business stakeholdersUpholds the Crawford Code of ConductRequirementsRising sophomore or higher in good standing at an accredited college or university is required.Grade Point Average of at least 2.5 or equivalent is requiredPrior work experience of some type is requiredPursuing a major in Marketing, Communications, English, Risk Management, or related major.Working knowledge of Marketing and Business Development concepts and techniquesWorking knowledge of business support applications such as MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Sharepoint) requiredGeneral exposure to SalesForce and MS SharepointKnowledge and/or experience with marketing is preferredAbility to facilitate effective and efficient meetings to gather information and outline processesWork successfully in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment in which meticulous attention to detail is expectedExhibit exceptional writing, organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and analytical/problem solving skillsTakes initiative to accomplish business objectives, seek new assignments, and request to learn more about the businessAbout UsPeople taking care of people.
