SUMMER PROGRAM DETAILS
Starts: Monday, June 07 Ends: Friday, August 10
Runs about 10 weeks; maximum of 40 hours/per week
Projects designed to build knowledge, skills, and experience in the Media Industry
Exposure to various business leaders and company initiatives
Additional training and development workshops to build transferrable business skills

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
This intern will work hand in hand with the Site Manager and Content Lead for Univision's B2B website, attending team meetings and interacting with both Ad Sales Marketing and Corporate Marketing. Since the scope of the website is wide, they will be involved in a wide array of tasks at different levels, including:
Writing thought leadership blog posts for the site with relevant research (research provided to them),
Setting up a thought leadership video hub on the site,
Assisting with the launch of various category landing pages,
Pulling and interpreting analytics through the Google Analytics platform,
Sourcing and sizing images for needs across the site,
Attending Executive Website Council Meetings and meetings with individual stakeholders,
Writing a mini WordPress manual for common posters to the site, adjusting the tagging system in the backend of WordPress that keeps our content searchable and organized,
Posting on our B2B social accounts, and writing copy for stakeholder pages across the organization.
COMPETENCIES TO DEVELOP
By working with both Ad Sales Marketing and Corporate Marketing, they will attain a full picture of Marketing services, including client and consumer-facing. They will gain internal client service experience interfacing with high-level stakeholders across the organization. Additionally, they will gain valuable experience on how to manage and plan out a website for a major corporation, including strategy and technical skills.
Majors in Marketing, English, Journalism, Advertising, PR, Communications, Mass Media
Must be a rising Jr., rising Sr., or recent May 2018 graduate
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S
Must be willing to work from offices in New York, NY
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
Effective computer skills, Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, & Word
Ability to speak Spanish – is a plus
Prior experience using WordPress REQUIRED
Basic Photoshop skills REQUIRED, more advanced design skills PREFERRED
Familiarity with Google Analytics STRONGLY PREFERRED
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Comfortable with language surrounding web and digital space
Leadership Skills: Must be self-driven with team-oriented approach
