The Role:One of Live Nation joint ventures is seeking a a highly motivated, organized and enthusiastic individual, who is interested in learning more about the live entertainment and music industries. This internship will allow students to gain first-hand, experience in a variety of areas, including; management, marketing, research, and digital & social media.
Areas that you will be learning about as a Latin Music Intern:• How to collaborate with internal teams to promote releases, including marketing plans• Skills related to creating compelling content that will be shared by influencers• How to assist with marketing brainstorming and research• How to maintain and organize internal information, such as tracking and analyzing artists singles, one sheets, decks and timelines• Relationship building - interact with other department interns (i.e branding, philanthropy, publicity, etc.)• Office skills – how to prepare itineraries, book travel and maintain department calendars
Qualifications:• Must be current student, enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s program at an accredited college or university• Must be eligible to receive academic credit from their college or university• Excellent verbal/written Spanish proficiency highly preferred as the majority of our content is Latin music• Background in Business, Journalism, Media & Technology, Advertising and Marketing Communications or other related academic discipline or work experience• Interest in learning new (web) related technologies and software• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Documents• Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments• Familiarity with social networking sites desired, but we will also train• Familiarity with Keynote/PowerPoint, but we will also train• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, but we will also train• Graphic design/video editing experience preferred but not required
This internship is available for the general summer semester. This is a non-paid internship, with flexible hours (minimum of 16 hours per week) to reflect your necessary college credit requirements.
