You will have the opportunity to participate in real-world projects, which provides valuable work experience and leadership skills.The Fox Internship Program provides mentoring and learning opportunities to help you develop your skills, network with Fox employees, and learn more about what it's like to work in the entertainment industry.Overview Home Team Sports, a division of Fox Sports Media Group, is seeking a student majoring in Business, Media/Advertising, Sports Management, or Entrepreneurship, ideally with experience in advertising or marketing. The intern will be working within the HTS Digital (Digital Sales) team at HTS' New York company headquarters.HTS creates 360 marketing campaign solutions for brands who want to reach home team fans across the MLB, NBA, NHL, and NCAA through on-air, in-store, in-stadium, and digital integrations. Serving 94++ MM homes, and representing every professional sports team in the US across these sport verticals, HTS is a central network for local, targeted, live brand messaging. HTSi is the Company's Digital Sales wing, working in tandem with the on-air product scope and teams to offer full coverage within live sports.- Please note that this internship has a flexible start date, and generally falls between the windows of June-August depending on mutually agreed upon schedule.- Housing is not provided..- You must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and working towards a degree.- You should be at least sophomore status when applying.Key ResponsibilitiesThe HTS Digital Summer Intern will have the opportunity to: - Assist with marketplace research as related to potential advertisers in digital sports' environments. - Analyzing active marketplace for target category strategies to understand the scope of business, as well as assist in communicating findings to HTS Digital (Digital Sales) team as requested. - Support HTS Digital team's client-facing initiatives by helping build sales decks and recap decks in Powerpoint and custom presentation software for potential and current clients.- Assist planner and campaign manager with campaign reporting.- Be involved in brainstorming sessions and other internal strategy meetings.- Have the opportunity to create an original campaign concept and marketing pitch with the guidance of the HTS Digital team to present to a select group at the conclusion of the internship. Fully encompassing campaign pitch based on individual market research, learned knowledge of HTS product scope, and key target categories using resources provided in-house. General Requirements/Desired Skills:- Strong interest in Sports Business, Media, Entertainment, and/or Advertising Sales- Proactive work ethic, inherent curiosity around problem-solving, and affinity for fast-paced environments.- Detail oriented and organized- Demonstrates a high level of commitment and flexibility throughout the entire internship experience- General office experienceProgram Length: * Interns must be available to work 20 hours per week for the duration of the internship (8-12 weeks depending on agreed upon schedule)Technical Requirements:Excellent Competency in: all PC capacities, Microsoft Office programs (including Excel & Powerpoint, as well as Word, etc.); Skilled in professional-quality writing and grammar (for regular email communication, and assistance with creating sales materials)All applications should include your cover letter, resume (both in PDF form), as well as a link to your LinkedIn or online portfolio.
