Kroll’sInvestigations& Disputes (“I&D”) practice provides investigative consulting services. The I&D practice is staffed with a multidisciplinary team of professionals including former prosecutors, law enforcement officers, journalists, forensic accountants, technologists and others. Our services line include complex investigations, litigation and other business dispute matters related to embezzlement, allegations of fraud and/or irregularities, contract disputes, due diligence, and computer forensics. To this end, Kroll is seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Director to manage corporate investigations, fraud prevention, business intelligence gathering, and risk management consulting engagements.

Position Overview:Our Interns support Kroll’s overall investigative process by assisting our research staff and case managers. This is a paid internship.

Responsibilities: * Performspecific research tasks and analyze findings for scoping purposes, business development efforts or active investigations * Assist research team in performing database research and analysis on a variety of public information databases * Write summaries of media references to the subject or issue at hand * Perform litigation searches on a variety of databases, review court documents, summarize the dispute at hand and relevant case filings * Assist in conducting investigative interviews or monitoring tasks * Write summary reports based on public record or source inquiry findings * Manage all available resources in an innovative way to achieve best possible advantage within applicable budgets and timelines

  • Graduate student at accredited University majoring in international affairs/studies, journalism, political science, or other related areas of study
  • Prior investigative or research experience in business, stock analysis or journalism reporting strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated accurate and thorough research capability
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information; meets set deadlines
