What You'll Do:
Drafting comScore press releases and managing inbound partner/client press releases with oversight from the Brand Manager
Developing topic-appropriate media pitches, media plans and assisting with media outreach
Monitoring and researching topical news subjects and editorial calendars
Overseeing corporate communications internal planning documents such as placement trackers and content calendars
Gathering data to fulfill inbound media data requests
Developing the social media content calendar with oversight from the Brand Manager
Drafting bylines and blog content with oversight from the Brand Manager
Assisting with award and speaker submissions
What You'll Need:
Coursework with a strong focus in marketing, communications, journalism and/or public relations
Experience within college coursework or internships in mass communications (journalism, public relations), marketing, advertising, corporate communications, digital marketing and content creation (blogging, social media management); experience at media measurement firms, local television stations, advertising agencies, national TV networks or digital publishers a major plus
Understanding of AP Style, and strong writing and grammatical abilities
Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) skills a must; experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal
Strong organization and traffic management skills
Proactive, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude; willingness to take on a variety of projects and tasks of varying types with equal enthusiasm
Ability to interact effectively with peers in a team-oriented operating structure, while also taking the initiative and working independently when necessary
