The key focus for a Graduate/Campus Recruiter Sourcing Specialist is to locate and recruit talented students and recent graduates from universities and college campuses to fill job openings or internship positions. A Campus Recruiter must juggle many duties and responsibilities to be successful. You will work closely with our client as well as the operations manager. Based upon your experience, you will recommend enhancements to ensure recruitment strategy effectiveness.
Your duties may include, but are not limited to:
Plan Events and Activities
Coordinating and facilitating on-campus recruiting events is one of the biggest responsibilities of a Campus Recruiter. From job fairs and meetings with key campus groups to parties and other social events, the Campus Recruiter must ensure all activities run smoothly and the desired student demographic is being reached.
A large part of this role is to sell students on the benefits and rewards offered by the client and you will be giving presentations to individuals and groups.
The ideal candidate can interview and assess candidates efficiently and effectively using multiple modalities.
Proactively pipeline talent and create pre-qualified candidate talent pools in line with the client’s workforce plans.
Maintain contact with existing talent pool candidates to obtain and capture current market intelligence.
Provide engaged and informed dialogue with candidates regarding opportunities.
Develop and implement candidate information initiatives, such as, candidate newsletters, marketing campaigns, and sourcing strategies.
At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in the Campus/Graduate space is desirable.
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
Analyzing and interpreting applicant information
Understanding employment interview techniques
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel
Managing multiple projects simultaneously
Organizing events, such as informational meetings
Knowledge of applicant tracking systems, such as Taleo and Smashfly
Proven ability to creatively recommend sourcing strategies utilizing job boards, associations, employee referral programs, social media and internet searches.
Strong knowledge of technology (Boolean search logic, Outlook, Web, Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
Experience in or knowledge of AGS client sectors is advantageous.
