Job Description:**

Morrisville State College seeks candidates for an Admissions Assistant. This full-time position serves as an admissions recruiter and is a member of the College's admissions professional staff. Responsibilities include describing the College's academic programs and admissions requirements to prospective students, guidance offices, and general public; managing travel territory as assigned; interviewing and corresponding with students; reviewing documents to ensure application completion; participating in planned communication and outreach to prospective students and applicants; assisting in the planning and implementation of recruitment projects. Evening, weekend and travel commitments are a requirement of the position.


Bachelor's degree, valid driver's license, and demonstrated computer literacy required. The ability to interact well with diverse populations, a customer service attitude, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills are preferred. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with a team of admissions professionals. Working knowledge of social media, strong public speaking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment preferred.
