Lab Co-op (Job Number: LIM00001047)
The DuPont Nutrition and Health R&D laboratory in Madison, Wisconsin is looking for a student co-op to assist with the daily operation of the lab as well as with various microbiological enumeration projects. The primary responsibilities of the co-op will be making media for enumeration, running the autoclave (sterilization equipment), cleaning glassware, upkeep of the shared laboratory spaces, and restocking supplies. The co-op will also be asked to label and/or prepare for experiments and to perform microbiological enumeration methods and PCR techniques. Adherence to DuPont Core Values and compliance with lab safety policies and procedures is required.
Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university
Majoring in Microbiology, Food Science, Food Engineering or other related majors
Ability to work 20 hours a week while enrolled in school; Set schedule preferred
Have the right to work in the U.S. without restriction
Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher preferred
