AHF is currently seeking a Global Operations & Marketing intern to work full-time that will start on June 18th through August 10th. The program will be a full time internship of 40 hours per week, and will provide insight for a student who has interest in working for non-profit organization. This position is paid $13.00 hourly.
The Intern will be responsible for:
Coordinates the administration of Departmental Advocacy-related priorities with AHF’s global programs, as well as with the AHF grant funding program, at the direction of the Director of Global Advocacy Operations and Global Advocacy Project Coordinator.
Will support the Global Advocacy office in keeping their projects up to date, which may include light data entry, and expense reporting, check requests, and organizing physical and digital files.
Coordinates research and summaries of background information to aid in the development of AHF’s global policy and advocacy agendas, at the direction of the Associate Director of Global Policy.
Helps with organizational duties around the office under the direction of the Global Advocacy Administrative Coordinator
Coordinates the Department’s photo and video archives, as well as use of the files for maximizing the promotion of AHF’s mission and global presence.
Coordinates the creation and production of marketing collateral that supports AHF’s Advocacy goals and objectives, for use at AIDS Conferences and other special events worldwide.
Assists the Global Marketing Department’s monitoring of half-yearly Advocacy & Marketing Plans with AHF’s Bureau and Country Program Offices.
Supports the Department’s development and execution of global media in all marketing disciplines, including but not limited to: media ad placement, collateral and promo production, digital video and photography, desktop publishing, online, print, outdoor and event management.
Expected to be a team player, who is willing to take on new challenges and specific project assignments, as deemed appropriate to support the Department’s overall goals and objectives.
Must be a fulltime student (junior/senior) at an accredited 4-year college or post graduate
Must have a gpa of 3.0 or higher majoring in Marketing, International/Global Studies, Business Adminitstration, or related field
Must commit to the full duration of the program and full time hours
Must have exceptional computer skills
