191029 Product Marketing Specialist - Summer 2019 Intern (Open)Areas of Interest: Marketing, Writing, Project Management, BusinessWe are looking for a student intern with the talent and passion to assist withdevelopment and management of marketing assets, product positioning andstorytelling for Seagate products and our brand.Great interpersonal skills and the ability to be extremely proactive, workindependently and build consensus is a must. You should also be highlyanalytical and detail-oriented, have solid writing/design skills andpossess a penchant for helping cross-functional teams across the globe todeliver powerful marketing content. Excellent oral and written communicationskills and the ability to work well in an international team environment areessential.Essential Functions:Projects may include working with teams, individual creativeprofessionals, web developers, project managers, product managers andagencies in writing, designing, editing and organizing of digitalmarketing assets, sales tools, product launch materials and websites.Ensuring accessibility, usability, quality/consistency, impactfulnessand completeness of messaging, voice and brand identity across all projects.Executive presentation design and production.Some experience and/or coursework with product positioning, competitiveanalysis and brand storytelling through research, corporate presentationdevelopment and social media.Interns typically work Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm. The hours are subject tochange with or without notice at the sole discretion of Seagate.Qualifications:Should be currently in BA/BS or MS program pursuing a degree in a relevantfield or equivalent practical experience.Must be enrolled in school fall of 2019 and be available to start May/Junefor summer internship.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, MS Office Suite, HTML andsocial media marketing knowledge preferable.Strong conceptual skills, a meticulous eye for detail/quality, and theability to visualise success and take a project from inception to completion.A penchant for customer satisfaction, ability to work independently withcross-functional, international teams in a collaborative environment.Ability to take direction and drive iterative rounds of work to deliverimpactful results that meet or exceed objectivesStrong project management skills with ability to prioritize and handlemultiple demanding projects to meet aggressive deadlines.Multilingual proficiency a plusLocationWalk into work every day with an exceptional view of the Rocky Mountains.
