L3 Warrior Sensor Systems is a global leader in the development and production of advanced night vision and electro-optical technology and systems for the U.S. military, federal agencies, public safety and sporting communities, and international markets. As part of L3 Technologies, Inc., and its Sensor Systems business Segment, Warrior Sensor Systems is made up of leading and complementary military and commercial divisions: Insight Technology, Electron Tube Operations (ETO) and EOTech.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with curation and drafting of various internal and external communications, including press releases, promotional material, employee messages and more.

  • Help brainstorm and create content for L3 Warrior Sensor Systems website and social media channels.

  • Create and maintain media lists, editorial calendars, media clip summaries, coverage grids and other databases.

  • Assist with administrative marketing duties as needed

  • Assist with event and tradeshow planning as needed

  • Provide support to the graphic design and business development teams as needed.

Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate student (rising Sophomore or above) pursuing degree in Communications, Marketing or Journalism.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills; demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and present it in a clear, concise and conversational manner.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work assignments appropriately.

  • Eagerness to meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to participate on projects and events in any way – big or small.

  • Knowledge of PR, corporate communications and media relations through coursework and/or other internships

  • Excellent computer literacy, Internet and social media savvy with experience using Microsoft Office suite

  • Proficiency with image and video editing is a major plus.

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday -Friday for 12 weeks

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
