Unilever Employer Branding & Learning Manager in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Employer Branding & Learning Manager



The Employer Branding & Learning Manager is responsible for all facets of Employer Branding, Learning, Organisational Effectiveness & Leadership Development for Unilever Malaysia. You will work closely with the HR Director, HR Business Partners, Talent Advisors and stakeholders from other functions to provide subject matter expertise and guidance within the Learning, Development, OE, and Employer Brand arenas.


Employer Branding

  • Strategize, execute & deliver Unilever’s Employer Brand agenda, programs, and initiatives:

  • Deploy Employer Brand calendar of activities across target university population

  • Implement signature talent attraction programs such as Unilever Future Leaders Programme (UFLP), Unilever Leadership Internship, campus career talks, and Future Leaders League brand competition

  • Provide support in maintaining Unilever’s relationships with university stakeholders (students, career services, professors) – and internal stakeholders (Unilever ambassadors, line managers)

  • Achieve pre-defined quality and standards for Employer Brand platforms/channels (Digital, Facebook, Instagram, print media)

  • Deploy Employer Brand materials as designed and planned


  • Develops and deploys (in line with global & regional strategies) overall geographic training and development strategy covering General Skills, Functional Skills and other Leadership Programmes.

  • Provides overall subject matter expertise to the geography in this arena and maintains key links with Unilever Academies to help provide a holistic learning approach that incorporates global and local professional, general and leadership skills.

  • Provides value add service to HRBP’s in this area giving guidance on content & delivery methodologies etc. for their teams i.e. workshops, meetings, leadership event.

  • Demand Planning and Scheduling

  • Ensures demand planning and programme scheduling is effectively & efficiently conducted throughout the geography.

  • Sets out the scope of the demand planning approach and how it should be covered off throughout each function.

  • Provides feedback on effectiveness of general skills spend and works on recommendations on programmes how to leverage spend in a more meaningful manner.


  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in any field of study.

  • Experience in Employer Branding management.

  • Experience in Learning Development.

  • Experience in HR Business Partnering will be an added advantage.
