Superior Construction, a family-owned construction company, is looking for a communications intern who is self-motivated and ready to learn. The intern in this position will learn how to navigate the ever-changing communications field and will be ready to use skills learned at Superior in their upcoming career. Applicants for this position must display excellent communication skills, creativity and a positive attitude toward learning and development.
Monitor social media and create posts on various platforms
Help keep the website updated by continuing to add photos and job descriptions
Act as a liaison with outside organizations
Work on a team to execute events for charitable organizations
Regularly update employee information
Design and write copy for print productions
Students applying for this position must be currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Public Relations, Communication, Journalism or Marketing. Applicants must have strong writing and social media skills as well as a strong work ethic. Microsoft and Adobe experience is required.

This is an office based role.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The incumbent occasionally walks and stands for long periods of time. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time internship.
The role requires minimal travel. Office/Field based role. 20 to 30 hours normally.
Required Education and Experience
Current or recent enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in Communications.
Strong writing and social media skills as well as a strong work ethic.
Microsoft and Adobe experience is required.
Ability to self-lead if needed
