The Global Recruiting and Staffing Talent Acquisition group provides recruiting support to all US business areas, enabling the attraction, selection and hiring of the right talent with critical capabilities. The Consultant—Talent Acquisition for MBA Recruitment will own and drive strategy and recruitment for all MBA recruiting programs, including the Accelerated Management Program (AMP) and International Business Unit recruiting. The Consultant will work with key stakeholders, including Business Unit leaders, HR Strategic Business Partners, global HR Directors and other senior leaders to develop and execute the recruitment strategy for MBA talent across the globe in multiple functions. The role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the Lilly MBA internship program, and unified campus brand and communication strategy across all degrees recruited. This role will manage several external relationships in an effort to enhance/expand the Lilly brand, and coordinate with campus resources and recruiters to ensure MBA talent acquisition strategies are aligned with objectives and the overall diversity and inclusion goals for the company.


Ensure we are effective at attracting, selecting, & hiring the best MBA talent in line with our values, local law/compliance obligations and business plan

  • Development and execution of the overall campus strategy including planning and implementation of internship programs in US and abroad consistent with Lilly’s diversity strategy and objectives.

  • Development and execution of campus branding, messaging, and marketing campaigns

  • Leadership and strategy for activities supporting internship program (conferences, campus/social media presence, etc.)

  • Develop strong working relationships with global HR Directors, HR Strategic Business Partners and senior leaders in order to ensure recruitment strategies are up to date and effective

  • Develop and implement campus recruiting strategies for all MBA acquisition efforts: US, OUS and AMP

  • Monitor business needs and align MBA Assisted Education Leave strategy with external MBA acquisition efforts to meet needs

  • Manage “high touch” recruitment process engaging directly with students through the entire recruitment cycle

Deliver an excellent experience for the candidate, employees and supervisor

  • Effectively represent the Lilly brand and values to all who touch the recruitment process

  • Focus on the MBA candidate experience, answering questions and providing value-added information consistently, with quality and fairness

  • Ability to manage through ambiguity, make sound decisions and juggle multiple competing priorities

  • Develop innovative approaches to campus and student engagement globally

  • Partner across the Lilly talent management organization to ensure consistency of career messages, and alignment with the global Lilly People Strategy.

Build and lead an effective recruiting organization

  • Develop, track, monitor, and communicate impactful performance metrics to stakeholders and Recruiting leadership as needed, leveraging data to make process improvements

  • Develop and present information on campus results and metrics at different levels

  • Lead projects or initiatives to drive improvements in MBA and share key learnings with the undergraduate campus programs

  • Effectively bridge strategy with execution through strong relationships with recruiters

  • Develop understanding of total talent management philosophy and build talent advisor skillset

  • Coach business leaders, US/global HR and recruiters on best practice

  • Anticipate future trends by continuously analyzing and addressing market conditions

  • Use solid judgment and thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

  • Demonstrated success with event planning / activity coordination

  • Fluent in Powerpoint and other Microsoft office applications

  • Prior sourcing/recruiting experience

  • Lilly project consultant or six sigma experience

  • Experience with recruiting technologies (CRM, ATS, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR, recruiting, talent management, or related experience (i.e. scientific discipline, sales, engineering, finance, IT, marketing, project management) or MBAQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
