JOB REQUIREMENTS: GPXpress Sales & Marketing Internship - Summer 2019 - 056578 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: GPXpress Sales & Marketing Internship - Summer 2019 Are you a looking for an Exciting, Real Hands on and Challenging Internship? The GPXpress internship is a 3-month month paid program designed to provide each student with a complete professional work experience and expose them to Georgia Pacific's Professional division within Sales and Marketing. Interns provide support to sales, category management and customer contact centers. Successful interns will be placed in one of the following areas of concentration: Category Management, End-User Interaction or Sales Administration. In each area the focus is on providing a working knowledge of the entire product/sales cycle and will include exposure to sales, plant and corporate environments. This summer internship will be completed in Green Bay, WI. What would my day look like? Intern responsibilities could include: * Leading interaction with Distributor Contacts (Buyer, Sales, Accounts payable, merchandising etc.) and End Users to handle customer business questions, issues and daily business functions in place of field sales. * Coaching Distributor Customer, Distributor Rep, GP Rep and End-Using customers. * Providing direction to field sales on improvement areas, maintaining and communicating policies and procedures to ensure a consistently high level of service to distribution and field sales. * Identifying, planning and executing initiatives with key customers that improve GP's value offering. * Leading process improvement on an ongoing basis with a focus on the continued improvement of service and business processes.
