Interns in the Distribution Marketing Department will: * Assist in the advancement and further development of internal and external private brands communication process. * Support social media initiatives through content planning, best practices, research and blog posts. * Event marketing, including mobile grill, store anniversaries and special events Minimum Skills - Educational Requirements: * Currently between the junior and senior year at a college or university. * Desired Major is in Marketing or Business. * Candidates must possess: * Good organization skills * Project management skills * Microsoft Office * Excellent communication skills * The ability to multi-task * Must also demonstrate the ability to be a team player and a self starter.POSITION SUMMARYResponsible to work in assigned department and complete specific duties and projects; department opportunities may vary each year. Interns will learn about employment opportunities with the Company and have an opportunity to apply educational studies within the work environment.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS DEGREES High School Diploma (Required) or equivalent (GED). Some College Degree (Preferred) Must be a junior or senior enrolled in a bachelors program with a cumulative GPA of 3.0.RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIESComplete specific duties and projects within assigned division/department.Responsible to complete or participate in at least one strategic project during the internship and give a short presentation to the executive team that showcases the project.Participate in learning opportunities that may include: tours of our warehouses and retail stores, a community service event (ie.Habitat for Humanity, Kids Food Basket, or Special Olympics), a presentation skills workshop and/or a culinary cooking team building workshop, etc.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and levels of work being performed as assigned for this job.
