Summary- This Parkview Summer Internship position will provide the student an opportunity to engage in experiential learning in the Parkview Sports Medicine Department. This intern will be provided with a hands-on opportunity for students to work with the multimedia team for the region’s largest integrated sports medicine team. The internship includes assisting in the writing, filming and editing videos for Parkview Sports Medicine services housed on various digital platforms; and daily operations of ParkviewSportsMedicine.com and social media channels. Projects include: Creating video commercials for Parkview Sport Medicine services, maintaining schedules, rosters and statistics for numerous Parkview Sports Medicine partner high school athletic teams, reporting of local sports news stories from the local community, and creating flyers and other printouts for informational sessions and promotion.
Program timeframe and requirements- The Parkview Summer Internship Program will begin on May 28, 2019 - August 2, 2019. Qualified students must be enrolled in a Journalism, Communications, Sports Management, Sports Administration, Marketing, Video Production or other related program and available to work 30-40 hours a week during the program duration.

Must be a current high school student undergraduate college student or graduate college student. Specific educational focus or degree may be preferred depending on the hosting department of internship. None required.
