Then our Visual and Parallel Computing Group (VPG) has opportunities for you. VPG delivers Intel's 3D graphics, media, display GPU, and Parallel Computing Technology. The Hardware team is within VPG and we design and validate the future Processor Graphics engines for mobile, desktop and server platforms that will lead the graphics market in power and performance.

We're looking for a Logic Design Engineers to join our team and who is ready to make significant impact in the graphics and visual computing. This position is at the forefront of Intel's next generation media development. In this position, you will utilize all your talents to work on the micro architecture/ logic design of the latest best Intel media quick sync technology and design.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to one or more of the following aspects of the design flow which encompasses all aspects of logic design methodology:

Responsible for digital design of a wide variety of logic functions, with emphasis on media encoder/decoder logic implementation

Responsible for Register Transfer Level (RTL) HDL design modeling, implementation, and debug

Responsible for extensive simulation testing and/or characterization of designs

Responsible for pre and post-layout static timing analysis

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • You must possess a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or in a related discipline

  • Bachelor's applicants must be U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

  • 1+ years of experience or equivalent coursework in the following areas:

  • Computer system architecture

  • Digital electronics and logic design

  • Verilog, System Verilog

  • Logic validation, synthesis, and timing analysis tools
