The internship is an integral role for gaining hands-on, real world experience in all aspects of the design development process within the BAE Systems Business Development Proposal Operations team. The intern will also have numerous opportunities presented to them that supplement this singular educational experience such as networking, mentoring options and cross-functional exposure.
The Graphics intern will work within our Proposal Development Center (PDC). The intern will utilize Adobe design software applications to conceptualize and create graphics and illustrations for use in technical publications, oral presentations, and other visual communications media.
In addition to on-the-job training, the I&S Internship Program offers:
Competitive Pay: Earn a competitive hourly wage, working full-time (Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week) through the run of the program (mid-May through August).

Required Skills and Education
This position will require a portfolio link or samples online at the time of the interview.
Legal Authorization to work in the United States, without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future is required.
Current enrollment in an accredited College/University is required at time of the internship.
Fluency in Adobe CSS (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is required.
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and must be well-organized and able to multi-task effectively.
Preferred Skills and Education
Graphic Design focus is preferred as major field of study.
A minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA is strongly preferred.
