Job ID 2309 Location Ellensburg Full/Part Time Full-Time Regular/Temporary Regular Job Summary The CWU Alumni & Constituent Relations Office is realigning focus and expanding its team to include an Associate Director of On Campus Engagement who in conjunction with the Senior Director of Alumni Relations, will serve as the lead strategist to support alumni engagement on the Ellensburg campus while overseeing the Alumni Mentor program and establishment of college based Alumni Coordinators. This position is responsible for leading, planning, development, implementation, management and growth of a campus-based alumni engagement platform and program offering meaningful engagement opportunities for current students to connect with alumni, including professional development assistance, mentoring, networking, forums, events, and volunteer opportunities for current students, and includes budget development and oversight. The Associate Director serves as part of the Alumni department & Constituent Relations strategic management team and as a resource to the Senior Director of Alumni and Constituent Relations & Executive Director of the Central Washington University Alumni Association. This position is an integral part of the office stability and sustained growth of the department and regularly exercises independent judgment and discretion. Job Duties On Campus Engagement - Direct and administer University Advancement supported ceremonies and programs - Direct and administer Alumni department involvement in Wildcat Day, Orientations and Welcome Weekend programs - Develop partnerships and actively sustain excellent working relationships with: CWU alumni, CWU Admissions, Career Services, New Student Programs, First Year Experience, Student Club and Associated Student staff, CWU academic units (CAH, COB, CEPS, COTS) and departments, CWU Athletics, and other appropriate colleagues. - Lead and train alumni volunteers and leaders as needed to support program and engagement goals - Support homecoming programs and engagements - Staff University Advancement and Alumni events to develop programs and encourage student engagement - Lead and coordinate alumni updates and maintain alumni data in collaboration with University Advancement operations team - Use technology such as social media and online programming to meet the needs of on campus engagement (student) programming - Identify best practices and standards for on campus engagement and deliver programs at CWU - Serve as representative of the alumni office & university by presenting in university sponsored events, public forums and speaking engagements as needed Alumni Mentor Program - Responsible for the ongoing development and oversight of opportunities to connect students and alumni in meaningful networking and professional development conversations through oversight and support of College based and Alumni department mentor programs - Partner with academic and student services staff to establish career development training, internships, and job opportunities through an alumni network in key geographic areas and campus career fairs - Provide facilitated networking opportunities with young alumni for students in their desired i
