Responsible for creating flyers and other collateral using template and brand elements; working with volunteer coordinator to update email contact database; assisting with content creation for employee newsletters; interviewing stakeholders for human interest stories; helping write and update fact sheets and media releases; helping coordinate special events, recruitment events and grand openings; developing promotional materials; conducting behavioral and attitudinal research; conducting statistical analysis; assisting with photo and video shoots; helping to organize department forms and documents; capturing images for social media content series; help create content for e-newsletter/blog/other channels as assigned. Requirements: � Must have completed collegiate coursework through junior year of an undergraduate degree (rising seniors or above) in advertising, marketing, journalism, communications or a related field. � Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts. � Should be goal-oriented. � Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and set priorities. � Must be self-motivated and have effective presentation skills. � Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. � Must be able to solve problems and function independently in a fast-paced work setting. � Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other graphics and/or presentation software. � Photography and video/ video editing skills a plus. � Knowledge of social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google +, YouTube, Instagram and other applicable channels. � Must have reliable mode of transportation. The dates of the internship will be June 4, 2018 to July 27, 2018. You must be available to work full time during this period.
