Responsible for creating flyers and other collateral using template and brand elements; working with volunteer coordinator to update email contact database; assisting with content creation for employee newsletters; interviewing stakeholders for human interest stories; helping write and update fact sheets and media releases; helping coordinate special events, recruitment events and grand openings; developing promotional materials; conducting behavioral and attitudinal research; conducting statistical analysis; assisting with photo and video shoots; helping to organize department forms and documents; capturing images for social media content series; help create content for e-newsletter/blog/other channels as assigned. Requirements: ï¿½ Must have completed collegiate coursework through junior year of an undergraduate degree (rising seniors or above) in advertising, marketing, journalism, communications or a related field. ï¿½ Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts. ï¿½ Should be goal-oriented. ï¿½ Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and set priorities. ï¿½ Must be self-motivated and have effective presentation skills. ï¿½ Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. ï¿½ Must be able to solve problems and function independently in a fast-paced work setting. ï¿½ Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other graphics and/or presentation software. ï¿½ Photography and video/ video editing skills a plus. ï¿½ Knowledge of social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google +, YouTube, Instagram and other applicable channels. ï¿½ Must have reliable mode of transportation.
