Job Summary

AECOM has an excellent career opportunity for an Entry Level Water/Wastewater Engineer in our Cleveland office.

In this position you will provide technical support on challenging projects that may include civil design, hydraulic modeling and design, report writing, permitting, technical studies, field support and construction management. Our large full-service local office provides solutions to our Clients in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, including investigative studies and planning plus design and construction management services for water pipelines, pump stations, storage and treatment facilities, and sanitary relief sewer and combined sewer overflow controls. As an industry leader and global company, our local professionals have the opportunity to participate on high profile projects, work with and learn from national experts, and explore other business lines such as Environment, Transportation and Energy.,

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum BS degree in Civil engineering or equal from an accredited university or college

  • 0 - 2 years applicable experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship and/or Co-op or full-time experience in related field is desired.

  • Course work with focus on water and/or wastewater or environmental engineering is desired.

  • Efficiency with AutoCAD, ArcGIS and Civil3D design software is a plus.

  • EI/EIT certification is preferred.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in teams.

  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Must be analytical with attention to detail, able to multi-task, and well organized.
