The Role:

The Chicago Venue Sales Department is in search of a highly motivated, organized and most importantly, enthusiastic individual who is interested in learning about the very heart of the entertainment industry! As an intern, you will be provided with the opportunity to learn about various aspects of the VIP program for the following venues: Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, Huntington Bank Pavilion, Alpine Valley Music Theatre, and Aragon Ballroom.

This internship will include exposure to the following:

  • Marketing and Advertising for VIP program

  • Recruitment of new VIP clients

  • How to provide quality customer service to VIP clients

  • How to use the internet to research and prospect potential clients

  • Digital marketing e-blasts and the program’s social media platforms

  • Day of show event preparation

  • Participating at onsite VIP operations on show days


  • Must be able to receive academic credit from your college or university prior to starting assignment

  • A degree in Entertainment/Sales or related field is preferred

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Must be able to commit to a minimum work schedule of 12 hours per week and a maximum of 30 hours per week with some availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays are required

  • Must be able to work in our Chicago office at least three times a week and help out on-site at concerts if necessary

  • Detail-oriented

  • The ability to multi-task efficiently on a daily basis

  • Must be eager to learn and proactive with new tasks - creativity is a must!

  • The ability to conduct yourself in a professional matter at all times

This is a great internship opportunity in the Entertainment field. We are currently searching for a student in a qualifying program to fill this internship position for the fall. This internship will be based in our Live Nation office in Chicago, IL as well as onsite at our concert venues. In addition, having reliable transportation to go to and from our venues is required.

This internship is for college credit and runs from September until early December. It is a non-paid position with flexible hours to reflect the need of your college credit requirements. We prefer a minimum of 12 hours per week and flexibility with class schedule - in order to get the most out of this learning experience, must be able to participate in show days which include weekends.
