Description Summary North Cascades Bank is looking for an undergraduate student who is majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Sales, Marketing or Advertising. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of Web and social media. PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is a bonus, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position. Responsibilities will vary based on project needs. Responsibilities * Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials * Assist with strategy to optimize social media content * Plan and coordinate with internal (branch staff, creative services) and external (event organizers, media) on the successful execution of external community events * Assist with execution of employee events * Assist with the creation of public relations materials including press releases. * General administrative support Requirements Skills * Enrollment in, or completion of, a bachelor's degree program required * Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms * Ability to multi-task and take initiative * Demonstrated writing ability * Flexible work schedule * Hardworking and dedicated outlook * Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly * Experience with content creation a plus, even if not professionally ADA Requirements * Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computers, telephones, etc. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
