Description:

Working closely with PacSci EMC managers and site HR teams at our Hollister, CA and Chandler, AZ locations, The Talent Acquisition Specialist will drive effective recruiting practices and processes with speed and efficiency to attract top talent to our rapidly growing and evolving business. This position will play a key role in supporting business growth through acquiring highly innovative, creative and skilled team members to help us progress through our next levels of our journey.

Essential Functions

  • Partner with HR and business leaders to understand current and future talent needs to develop and own best in class staffing strategies and processes for sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluating, selecting and onboarding talent.

  • Proactively engage HR and managers through the full recruiting cycle to quickly fill open positions with strong talent.

  • Own and execute each step in the recruiting cycle including facilitating intake meetings with HR and managers, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, driving offers to closure, initiating and monitoring background check and other pre-hire actions etc.

  • Relentlessly pursue new and innovative ways of attracting, securing and retaining world class talent through various avenues including social media, community and professional organization engagement etc.

  • Partner with and educate internal teams to continuously improve candidate care practices in order to deliver unparalleled candidate recruiting and new hire experience.

  • Bench mark and analyze industry best practices for driving rapid recruitment and highly retentive programs.

  • Manage full cycle recruiting software actions to track and document staffing process efficiency.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance in all staffing related practices and processes.

  • Help organize recruiting events, internal/external career fairs, interview days and other events to attract candidates.

  • Project manage Internship program at the Chandler site, attend career fairs, work with managers on internship needs in their department, organize the internship interview day and organize events for interns during internship.

  • Support New hire Orientation process as back-up facilitator when needed

Qualifications:

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field

  • 1-2 years of technical recruiting experience

  • 2 years of HR related experience

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other business software

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple activities/ projects

Preferred qualifications

  • Expertise in other HR disciplines a plus

  • Ability to adapt & respond effectively to a rapid and complex changing work environment

  • Communicate confidently, accurately, and effectively across all employee levels

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with orientation on results

  • Ability to be comfortable with a dynamic workload and not resistant or afraid to "roll up your sleeves”

  • Proven effective consulting skills, with an ability to influence in all directions and at all levels

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment

  • Communicate confidently, accurately, and effectively across all employee levels
