Social Media Marketing Internship

Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM), a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an opening for a Social Media Marketing Intern, for the summer of 2019 at our Headquarters in Carlisle, PA. This is a full time paid internship.

Project Summary:

This internship will focus on researching, identifying and implementing a photography library for the various CCM business to use for sharing photography throughout its social media platforms. The candidate will assist the Social Media Coordinator with the development and execution of social media posts across all platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research cloud-based photography storage solutions

  • Develop a categorization structure

  • Upload and tag relevant photography

  • Identify gaps and schedule/oversee photo shoots

  • Assist the social media coordinator with posting and content development

  • Assist the social media coordinator with the editorial calendar

  • Recommend social media marketing strategies

  • Additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be pursuing a degree in Marketing or other related degree

  • A minimum 3.0 GPA required

  • Knowledge of social media platforms

  • Marketo or equivalent software experience plus

  • Project Management software experience a plus

Additional Information:

Candidates must be available to work full-time the entire duration of the internship: May 2019-August 2019. A formal presentation to an internal audience will be required at the completion of the project.
