We are looking for an Information Technology (IT) Systems Analyst to join our Winning Workplace (WW) team which is part of the corporate Global Information Systems (GIS) organization. In this team, you will deliver the IT strategy and solutions to our end users across the Whirlpool environment. From our employees to our suppliers/vendors we make sure that the IT tools, environment and culture support our users to perform their best on their business objective. You will design and implement functional and cost-efficient IT System tools and software from day to day routine tasks such as email, calendar, chat and virtual meetings to advanced macros and conversions in complicated business processes. Your overall goal will be to leverage technology to meet organizational and global enterprise needs that will be a 5-star experience that is user-friendly.
Whirlpool WW IT Environment knowledge expert providing leadership, guidance, and ownership for all aspects of IT tools helping Whirlpool end users
Understand Business and IT needs
Design, analyze and implement efficient IT Systems
Advise on best practices across enterprise regarding workplace productivity and culture
Ability to make a basic business case for critical and innovative workplace solutions
Solve enterprise workspace problems
Provide WW IT training, education and awareness
Stay current of ‘Best in Practice’ enterprise workplace IT tools, innovations, ideas, and designs
Monitor, track and ensure timely resolution WW IT objectives, including managing internal activities, training on Google Guides, and conducting internal audits on the success of IT tools/efforts
Available for inquiries from Google Guides and corporate users regarding information about tools, applications, software, Google Suite, learning opportunities, etc.
Coordinate with functional leadership and ensure all WW documentation is current, reviewed and approved by all impacted functions, communicated and deployed in a timely manner
Ensure proper training is available for outside stakeholders and environment end users
Conduct quarterly updates with manager and leadership
Coordinate annual workplace review through surveys, metrics, benchmarking
Gather feedback from end users to continue improving IT Systems
Prepare the Organization Change Management communications and monthly newsletter updates to Google Guides and to global users
Work and cooperate with Whirlpool’s Global WW regional teams and outside vendors supporting WW IT efforts
Serve as contact point for various WW activities under the broader scope of the team
6 months + work experience with Information Technology Systems (can be a college internship experience or college course project experience)
1+ years work experience in Microsoft Office and Google Suite of Software Products
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
Ability to understand business needs
Excellent communication skills, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Hands-on experience with technical projects
Passion for technology and analysis to execution work in the corporate environment
A desire to lead corporate environment with Winning Tools and Solutions for employees and business users
Comfortable in Google Suite Environment
Time and task management
Strong leadership skills
Ability to interact with others comfortably
Having the ability to perform all roles associated with the project in order to take over if needed to ensure project continuity
Being able to work under timelines and collective team objectives
