The Team

The Digital department at Cartoon Network offers a wealth of interactive content for fans of all ages, including more than 200 innovative games that feature original show properties from Cartoon Network. Within Digital, the Games Studio develops original online games from concept to completion for publishing on CartoonNetwork.com and beyond. Join the Cartoon Network Games Studio team to enjoy the best of both worlds: the ingenuity and creative atmosphere of a small game development studio backed by the resources and benefits of an international media powerhouse.

The Job

  • Assist Game Producers with various production activities as needed
  • Handle archiving, data collection, asset organization, retrieval and distribution of assets for producers
  • attend meetings
  • assist in distribution of information among team members, to other departments within Cartoon Network, and to external vendors
  • help with the tracking of game art production
  • retrieve and organize stats for various online events
  • log issues in bug tracking system;
  • some QA testing of games in development and on the live site.
  • This internship will run 12 weeks and required to work between 20-30 hours per week. The Essentials We Need From You

  • Must have good communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Adobe products is a plus (Photoshop, Flash)
  • Some experience with game development in any capacity is a plus

Spring 2019 program dates are January 21st through April 12th. Interns are paid a competitive-wage based on location and relocation is not provided.Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
