WETA Intern, Student Reporting Labs in Arlington, Virginia

RESPONSIBILITIES

Interns will help Student Reporting Labs distribute video content through digital platforms and manage Google Documents related to station reports and feedback from teachers and students.

Interns will help Student Reporting Labs create communications including social media content, short videos, photos or graphics, as needed.

Interns will provide production and administrative support on special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with web publishing
  • Interest in education and youth media
  • Interest and demonstrated skill in writing, copyediting
  • Interest and skills in video production
  • Strong interest in journalism

EDUCATION

To be eligible, interns must be currently enrolled in a college or university or have graduated within 12 months from the beginning of the internship. Interns may receive academic credit for their internship if approved and arranged by their educational institution.
