This is your opportunity to learn and help Signify to engage with a variety of stakeholders through communications. The work you do with the Press Office team will support our marketing and communications activities around the world, emphasizing how we unlock the extraordinary potential of light for Brighter Lives and a Better World.
Your challenge is to support the Press Office team in its interactions with different media, including newswires, mainstream and financial media. In doing so you will support a variety of corporate announcements and developments and a broad range of campaign and initiatives, communicating through conventional channels such as press releases and digital channels including social media. As you engage with a broad range of corporate stakeholders, this is a unique opportunity for you to enrich your business knowledge, enhance communications skills and develop understanding about how a corporate narrative is created.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the social media calendar and putting together a weekly email to the leadership and communications teams internationally
Supporting the Press Office in compiling materials for quarterly earnings
Supporting corporate campaigns, including: CSR and Sustainability
Helping to create content for different occasions, including media engagements by the leadership abroad
Analyzing media coverage and support with media measurement presentations and monthly reports
You will have the chance to work in an international environment with multiple stakeholders, learning about the many aspects of communications. You will get your own responsibilities and get the opportunity to work on various campaigns and projects.
Your job will be balanced, working on both existing projects, where you can demonstrate your creativity, and administrative tasks, which will help you to hone your organizational skills and understand the needs and challenges facing a truly global business.

Currently studying towards your HBO Bachelor / Bachelor of Science / Master of science WO in: Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or other related studies;
Excellent written and verbal English skills;
Knowledge of different digital platforms and the latest communications trends;
Affinity with Social Media;
Excellent PowerPoint skills and
Previous internship experience is considered a plus.

The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month

EU/EER students: In order to be considered for this internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation of this may be requested at any time.
Non-EU students in Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (receive ECTS in turn). In case of non-compulsory internship, you need to have a letter from the university in which it states that your internship contributes to your personal development, what your learning goals are and what tasks you will undertake during your internship. The letter has to be signed and stamped by your university.
Non-EU students in non-Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and the internship should be a compulsory part of your studies. Also, you need to be able to get the official approval of your university for this internship (Nuffic agreement).
